Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her mother is Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already a talented performer from a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mother signed her up at an agency prior to when turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials and newspaper ads. She also started taking private acting classes at that time. Bell had a role that was not credited of Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell participated in the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. When her school staged a production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course upon graduation. In 2001, Bell quit her university in order to portray the character in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang during 2001. However, her scene cut, and her only appearance is in the final credits. Bell was in Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
