Mary McCormack, an American actor, is known for her lead roles in TV shows such as "The West Wing, 'In Plain Sight,' and Loaded.' Her film roles include Private Parts, Deep Impact True Crime, and 1408$. Born to a clinical therapist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the field of entertainment. Her acting career started when she was 12 years old as she performed in the stage version of 'Amahl and The Night Visitors', which was the Christmas-themed opera. When she began her professional career, she was only twelve when she was on stage for an opera production entitled "Amahl's Night Visitor". Following her stage debut and in film, she got the roles on small-screen and large-screen productions. McCormack nowadays is recognized for being one of Hollywood's best-known and versatile actors. McCormack is married to producer/director Michael Morris and has three children.
